The second stage of the IT-Crimea technopark will be built in Sevastopol

The project to create a technology park in the field of information technology has been implemented in Sevastopol since 2018. Among the main tasks is the creation of a complex that will become a platform for the placement and development of IT companies, the implementation of innovative projects, with an ecosystem for work, education and leisure of IT specialists. According to the government of Sevastopol, the amount of investment in the project has already exceeded 1 billion rubles, and by 2030 it will amount to 3.34 billion rubles.

As part of the implementation of the priority investment project «IT Park RUS», it is planned to build the second stage of the technology park, which will expand the infrastructure to 30 thousand square meters. In the future, the IT park will include an engineering center, a center for the collective use of scientific and experimental-industrial equipment, laboratories, an innovation and technology center, prototyping centers, data processing, a congress and exhibition hall. The start of repair work is scheduled for 2025. Work is currently underway to design a new building— notes Dmitry Gachko.

The second stage of the IT-Crimea technopark is expected to attract new investors and create over 5,000 jobs. By the end of 2023, seven more companies will join the park, including the IT development center of Promsvyazbank and the IT Garage startup studio, increasing the total number of residents to 32.

In the nearest future, it is planned to commission building «C» with an area of ​​more than 3.5 thousand square meters, where a bootcamp and new office spaces will be opened, which will increase the possibility of attracting new residents. The bootcamp offers conditions for IT companies wishing to organize strategic sessions, increase the productivity of project teams and explore relocation opportunities,» the agency’s interlocutor added.
