The seller of one of the stores in Simferopol confused the cash register with his own pocket

The police detained a suspect for stealing money from the cash register of one of the stores in Simferopol.
The day before, the police received information that employees of one of the tobacco stores, as a result of an inventory, had identified a shortage of funds in the amount of 35 thousand rubles. Operatives verified the information received and located the suspect. The attacker was detained and taken to the police department to give an explanation.— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The 35-year-old detainee did not deny his guilt, and admitted that from April to May of this year, he had stolen money from the store’s cash register. He spent everything stolen for his own needs.
The man was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place. The investigator of OP No. 1 “Zheleznodorozhny” of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 5 years.
