The Sevastopol authorities promise to paint the backsides of houses near New Khersones
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The facades of houses on Eroshenko Street, painted in terracotta for the opening of New Chersonesos, reports «Sevastopolskaya Gazeta»remained unpainted on the other side, as reported by residents of these houses.
Their requests were voiced on July 30 by deputy Ekaterina Bubnova at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly after the head of the city’s report on the results of the Sevastopol government’s work for 2023. According to her, residents also complain that the entrances of buildings, unlike the facades, remain unrepaired. Another complaint concerns the replacement of windows in the entrances: now only the vents can be opened.
In response, Mikhail Razvozhaev promised to carry out cosmetic repairs in the entrances within the budget funds, at the expense of the savings that had been made. As for painting, according to him, due to the rush associated with the opening of New Chersonesus, the builders concentrated only on the main facades.
I do not welcome such approaches. The corresponding comments have been made. All this needs to be completed.— said Mikhail Razvozhaev in response to criticism.
He also promised to sort out the vents.
As reported, Sevastopol received a subsidy of 450 million rubles to renovate houses on Yeroshenko and Nadezhda Ostrovskaya streets in the same style as the museum and temple complex «New Chersonesos». The money was supposed to be used to renovate facades and roofs, and install windows and doors in the entrances. The upper floors were hastily painted terracotta to give the houses a «Byzantine style».
