The Sevastopol branch of the SFR has assigned a single benefit to parents of more than 22.6 thousand children

The monthly allowance in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child (unified allowance) is a cash payment that can be received by Sevastopol families with children under 17 years of age, whose average per capita income is below 15,762 rubles (the subsistence minimum per person in the region). Since the beginning of 2024, the SFR branch in Sevastopol has assigned such an allowance to parents of more than 22.6 thousand children.

When assigning a payment, in addition to the level of income, the following is taken into account: family property (https://sfr.gov.ru/grazhdanam/edinoe_posobie/ocenka/) and the employment of parents or objective reasons for its absence. According to the law, children and the parent submitting the application must be citizens of the Russian Federation and permanently reside in Russia.

Income information is taken into account for 12 months, the period starts one month before the application submission date.

It should be noted that the monthly payment for each child depends on the family’s income and is 50% (RUB 8,091), 75% (RUB 12,136.50) or 100% (RUB 16,182) of the regional subsistence minimum for children in Sevastopol.

You can submit an application on the public services portal, in person at the client service of the Sevastopol Branch of the SFR, or at the MFC.

It is more convenient for parents to apply for the payment for all children under 17 at once, indicating them in one application. A single benefit is assigned for 12 months. A new application for an extension can be submitted one month before the end of the payment period or after the end of the period., — the press service quotes Elena Gaivoronskaya, Head of the Sevastopol Branch of the SFR.

The decision on the assignment of benefits is made within 10 working days from the date of filing the application and receipt of all information by the regional branch of the SFR.

If the benefit is assigned for the first time, the payment comes within 5 working days after approval, and then according to the schedule — in the current month for the previous one. For example, if the application is approved in July, the first payment will be received in the same month, and the next one (for August) will come in September, the payment for September — in October, etc.
