The Sevastopol Employment Center launches a program to support the unemployed for starting a business
The Sevastopol Employment Center is launching a program to support the unemployed for starting their own business — 200 thousand rubles will be allocated to each unemployed person who opens their own business with the assistance of the employment service. The total amount of funding for the program will be more than 11 million rubles.
Unemployed people who wish to take part in the program, in the direction of the employment service, undergo advanced training courses in the field of small and medium-sized businesses. Upon completion of training, program participants develop and defend their business plan to a special commission. Financial assistance is provided after successful defense of the submitted business plan.
The first stream of training in the basics of entrepreneurship started in January at the Sevastopol branch of the Russian Economic University named after. G. V. Plekhanov. The full-time course is designed for 108 academic hours and attracted 12 students, of whom 11 were women and 1 man. The goal of the program is to increase the professional competence of the unemployed in the field of entrepreneurship for the successful implementation of their business ideas. University teachers will provide not only theoretical knowledge, but will also conduct a series of seminars on the development of entrepreneurial skills.
Already in March, new entrepreneurs will appear on the Sevastopol market, ready to offer services in the field of beauty, confectionery and apartment renovation. As a rule, people choose those areas of activity in which they already have experience or relevant education. However, there are exceptions when the unemployed decide to make a radical career change. For example, last year a technologist created a creative workshop for the production of exclusive eco-bags, and a car repair mechanic created a mini-workshop for the production of loft-style furniture– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Irina Reklitskaya, head of the active employment promotion policy department of the Employment Center.
In addition, for each program participant, employment service consultants develop an individual career plan based on their life situation, organize trainings and master classes to involve talented and creative people in business.
Let us remind you that the program to assist in organizing business activities in Sevastopol has existed for more than five years. In 2024, 59 unemployed city residents will be able to open their own business with the help of the employment service and receive financial support in the amount of 200 thousand rubles.
To receive services for starting your own business, you can contact the Sevastopol Employment Center at 40 Rudneva Street or by phone +7 (8692) 53-32-73.
