CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Sevastopol personnel center “Russia’s Work” announces the launch of a new project “Medicine is my calling”, aimed at attracting new employees to the city’s medical institutions and helping young specialists successfully adapt to the workplace. The initiative is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Demography” and in collaboration with the Department of Health and the Department of Education. The project includes a set of activities to attract and support young professionals, including a survey of newcomers, adaptation programs, mentoring and burnout prevention.
The main goal of the project is to attract specialists to medical institutions, to interest schoolchildren in professions in the healthcare sector and to support beginning employees at the adaptation stage— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Deputy Director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Dmitry Shamrey.
The starting event of the program was a round table organized by the employment service for specialists from the human resources departments of medical institutions in the city. The first stage of the project is a survey of 20 young employees of City Hospital No. 5. The results presented at the roundtable will allow hospital management to better understand the difficulties faced by newcomers and improve the conditions for their adaptation.
The “Medicine is my calling” project will not only help attract new personnel to our hospitals, but also retain them, creating conditions for comfortable work and professional growth, — emphasizes the director of the employment center of Sevastopol Svetlana Rendak.
Within the framework of the project, career guidance classes will also be organized for schoolchildren with the participation of doctors. It is also planned to hold job fairs, online selections and targeted training for future doctors through the “Work of Russia” platform.
