In the Leninsky department, the registry office of Sevastopol Alexander Vasilievich and Nina Romanovna Khomyakov celebrated the 65th anniversary of life together-an iron wedding. Their story is a vivid example of family fidelity and devotion, the embodiment of the stamina and strength of the spirit, packed up in the difficult years of the war and embodied in many years of peaceful life.
Alexander Vasilievich survived the hardships of war, bombing and separation from his father, after which he served as an officer in Sevastopol. Nina Romanovna, together with her grandmother, took refuge in Inkerman curtains from the bombing and took part in the restoration of the city after liberation. Fate brought them in in Chersonesos, and this meeting was the beginning of their long joint path. After the wedding in Zaporozhye in 1960, the couple returned to Sevastopol, where both devoted many years to work in the fishing industry.
For more than 20 years, Alexander Vasilievich worked as the first assistant on fishing trawlers, having made 25 barriers. Nina Romanovna went from the technique of the laboratory to the head of the personnel department. The family raised two children, they have six grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren living in different parts of the country.

Nina Romanovna is actively involved in the public life of Sevastopol, consists in the section of the Sevastopol Committee of War Veterans and sings in the choir of veterans “red carnation”.
