Regional sports competitions in motor sports «For the Cup of the city of Sevastopol» On top of victory «will be held on May 21 in Orlin. The special stage begins its ascent at the foot of the hill and ends at the historical place «Baidar Gates». The length of the route is 3.3 km. Mountain racing is a discipline of motor sports, which is a high-speed competition with a separate start on a linear track closed from outside traffic, in which the finish line is located above the start line.
These competitions are called differently: high-speed climb, hill climb. The winner here is the one who will drive the fastest along the mountain road from the foot to the top. City Cup will be held in Sevastopol for the fourth time— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for youth and sports, Sergei Reznichenko.
At the moment, 18 crews have declared their desire to participate in the mountain race.
Start of the race at 13:00 in the village of Orlin, near the rise to the Baydar gates.
The organizer was the Sevastopol Motor Sports Federation with the support of the Government of Sevastopol and the Orlinovsky municipal district.
