The Sevastopol team of young rescuers is among the leaders of the School of Safety competition across the SFD

The Sevastopol team of young rescuers showed a high result at the level of the Southern Federal District in the Safety School competition. The guys return home with a gold and a silver medal — in the junior and senior groups, respectively. The training of our participants was carried out by employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol and the Sevastopol Center for Tourism, Local History, Sports and Excursions for Students.

«School of Safety» is an All-Russian children’s and youth public movement that helps young people to master the skills of action in extreme situations, the principles of first aid and the basics of life safety. Team competitions allow to consolidate knowledge and skills.

This year the final of the competition took place in Maykop. School teams from all subjects of the South of Russia fought for the victory — almost two hundred athletes from Adygea, Crimea, Sevastopol, Kalmykia, Rostov, Astrakhan, Volgograd regions, as well as the Krasnodar Territory. Teenagers showed their physical fitness, overcoming the obstacle course, performing a combined strength exercise and cross. In addition, the participants passed tests in fire combat deployment, tourist obstacle course and search and rescue operations, completed tasks on the water.— noted in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.

The competition once again demonstrated the high level of training of all teams. The places were distributed as follows.

Senior group:

• the first place was taken by the team of the Republic of Adygea;
• second place — the team of the city of Sevastopol;
• the third is the team of the Rostov region.

Junior group:

• the first place was taken by the team of the city of Sevastopol;
• second place — the team of the Republic of Crimea;
• third place — the team of the Republic of Adygea.
