The Sevastopol traffic police summed up the results of the autumn operation “Carrier”

Sevastopol traffic inspectors checked compliance with the requirements of the Traffic Rules by public transport drivers. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, as part of the “Carrier” raid, State Traffic Inspectorate officers checked 85 public transport units, 8 of which are intended for transporting children.
Traffic inspectors found 40 facts of violations of traffic rules by drivers of passenger transport, as well as 7 facts of improper performance of their duties by officials of carrier enterprises.
The largest number of administrative materials was compiled under Article 12.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of the rules for transporting people.” For this violation, administrative liability is provided in the form of a fine in the amount of five hundred rubles. Also subject to administrative liability under Part 2 of Article 12.31 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Release to the line of a vehicle that has faults with which operation is prohibited, except for the cases provided for in Part 2 of Art. 11.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, or the release onto the line of a vehicle converted without the appropriate permit,” four officials of carrier enterprises were involved. This violation is subject to administrative liability in the form of a fine in the amount of five to eight thousand rubles.the message says.
The State Traffic Inspectorate warns that the “Carrier” preventive raid is carried out regularly in Sevastopol.
