The SFR department in Sevastopol issued SNILS for 3.3 thousand newborns in 2023. Proactively

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Sevastopol Branch of the Social Fund of Russia issued individual personal account insurance numbers (SNILS) for 3.3 thousand children born in 2023.

The child’s personal account number is required to apply for a compulsory health insurance policy (CHI) and to register with a clinic, to receive maternity capital, to process social benefits, etc.

Let us remind you that since 2020, the process of registering a personal account for a child takes place without any application. That is, parents no longer need to contact the Social Fund with documents.

After information about the birth of a child, received from the civil registry office, appears in the SFR information system, the child’s individual personal account number is proactively issued and sent to the mother’s personal account on the State Services portal— the press service quotes the manager of the SFR Branch for the city of Sevastopol, Elena Gaivoronskaya.

This service is available to parents who are registered on the State Services portal. To receive a notification about the issued SNILS by email or SMS, you must select the appropriate settings in your personal account.

For families who have adopted children, the application procedure for registering SNILS is maintained. Adoptive parents, as well as parents who do not have a confirmed account on State Services, can contact any client service of the SFR with a passport, birth certificate of children and adoption documents (for adoptive parents). The insurance number is issued on the day of application.

For advice, you can contact the single contact center by phone: 8-800-100-00-01 and contact the second line operator — a specialist from the Sevastopol Social Fund. Calls from all phones are free.
