The ships of the Black Sea Fleet repelled the attack of the naval kamikaze drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The night before, at 22:55, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made an unsuccessful attempt to attack the ships of the Black Sea Fleet, which are carrying out tasks to control navigation in the southwestern part of the Black Sea, with a sea unmanned boat. As specified in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the incident occurred 237 km southwest of Sevastopol.

In the course of repulsing the attack, the unmanned enemy boat was destroyed by fire from the onboard armament of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet — the patrol ship «Inquisitive» and the patrol ship «Vasily Bykov», without reaching the target of the attack— reported in the Russian military department.

Warships continue to carry out assigned tasks in the Black Sea. Case only confirms — it is possible and should effectively repel the attacks of Ukrainian sea drones.
