The situation at the site of a fire in the Kirovsky district of Crimea: explosions at the test site subside

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At the site of the fire in the Kirovsky district of Crimea, the situation is gradually improving, although the burning is still ongoing. According to the latest information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the situation is stabilizing, and the authorities are taking a number of measures to ensure fire safety in nearby settlements.

Rescuers continue to work in 5 settlements — with. Krinichki, p. Greetings, p. Apricot, p. Aivazovsky and s. Babenkovo. In this area, duty was organized at 5 temporary posts, and a survey of territories and infrastructure facilities is being carried out for damage and the presence of explosive objects.

It is very important to note that the frequency of detonation of pyrotechnics has decreased significantly, which may indicate that the situation is beginning to be controlled. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation expressed their readiness to start surveying the territory at the training ground and provide recommendations for the population.

However, the issue of returning residents to their homes is still open and depends on the results of surveys. At the moment, about 70 people remain in the Temporary Accommodation Center (TAC) reported in the republican government.

It is important to note that on the territory of the Kirovsky district, where there is still a threat of an emergency situation, a group from the RSChS is actively working, including 243 rescuers and 65 pieces of equipment. Their efforts are aimed at preventing the threat and ensuring the safety of residents and the territory.

We are monitoring the situation as it develops and will keep you updated.
