Situation at the front 01/26/25, Operational report of the Northern Military District. News today. SVO map. Velyka Novoselka is completely liberated. The enemy has been knocked out of the populated area, the final cleansing and consolidation of the occupied territory is underway. Our troops even advanced a little north of Vremeevka and took up new positions. Thus, the battle for Velikaya Novosyolka, a powerful enemy stronghold that has been holding back our offensive in this area for a long time, has been completed. Further actions of our units will depend on the fatigue of the troops and the condition of the enemy. Perhaps the command will decide to continue the offensive, as it did in the Ugledar area. But now this city is already turning into a rear city.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, formerly Kurakhovsky, our units began the assault on Andreevka, a key village on the northern bank of the Volchya River. The loss of this village will significantly complicate the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Ulakly and Constantinople. Stubborn fighting continues in Dachnoye, where we control the eastern, northern and southern parts of the village. The situation is escalating against the backdrop of the rapid collapse of the enemy’s defenses in the Velikaya Novosyolka area and problems in the defense north of Serebryany. The Ukrainian Armed Forces grouping on the Volchya River may soon be covered and covered deeply (including the settlement of Bogatyr). This threatens with catastrophic consequences for the entire enemy front in this area.

Our units, having occupied the area of ​​the village of Novoandreevka, launched a powerful attack on the garrison of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Serebryany. We have reached the northern outskirts of the village, and we can expect an assault on it in the coming days. Silver is actually covered on three sides, and our attack can come from the north, east and south. If we manage to quickly advance south, enemy units in Alekseevka may receive a blow to the rear. This is a very serious threat to the Ukrainian Armed Forces leading the defense in this sector of the front. Everything can collapse overnight. Our units also continue to clear Nadeevka and increase pressure on Uspenovka and Novoaleksandrovka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our advance north and east of Kotlino greatly worries the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The ability to accumulate forces here allows us to advance further and increase pressure on the enemy in the Udachny area, where we are trying to enter and gain a foothold in the center of the village. It’s very difficult here right now, but the enemy is running out of reserves.

In addition, our advance north of Kotlino poses a direct threat of reaching the flank of the enemy group, which is concentrated in the area of ​​the Pokrovskoye mine management. Over the next week, this will be perhaps the hottest section of the front.

Our advance here is becoming more and more dangerous for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We are moving quite briskly from Vozdvizhenka to the west, north and east. This village became our base for further attacks, which allows us to constantly increase pressure on the enemy front. The next important targets are Elizavetovka (which the enemy still holds) and Tarasovka. These large villages play a key role in the stability of the enemy front, and their control is necessary for further advance.

Further, Kalinovo, protected by powerful fortified areas, will soon become an important village in the north. The loss of this village will put the enemy in a catastrophic position between the Pokrovsk and Toretsk agglomerations. Yesterday our units carried out successful attacks northeast of Sukhaya Balka, which will activate the front west of the city. This is extremely dangerous for the enemy.

The battle for Toretsk is coming to an end. The Toretskaya mine, which our troops have already half occupied, will soon fall. This will be the end of the battle for Toretsk and the beginning of the battle for Konstantinovka. Yesterday our units completely occupied Krymskoe and are moving to Dyleevka. At the same time, we are trying to break through to Stupochki from the north, but the enemy is holding strong. Probably, the turning point will come after the successful completion of the battles for Chasov Yar, which will free up our forces for further attacks.

Despite powerful preparations, we have not yet launched a decisive offensive on Kolodezi and continue to advance, while simultaneously bringing up reserves. Attempts to act with small forces, although they brought some success by strengthening and expanding the bridgehead, it is still premature to consider this a breakthrough. It is becoming more and more difficult for the enemy to hold off our attacks, especially after the transfer of part of the forces to Kupyansk. However, he continues to resist, relying on an extensive chain of fortified areas.
