The soul demanded “continuation of the banquet.” Store robbery in Sevastopol style

Sevastopol operatives detained a man suspected of stealing more than 300 thousand rubles from a store. The moment of illegal entry into the premises and the theft of money was recorded by CCTV cameras.
It was established that in the evening a 25-year-old local resident spent all his money on alcohol, but he wanted to continue the banquet and decided to get money from a nearby store. While intoxicated, the man tried to break the glass entrance door to the trading floor by throwing two bottles at it. Having failed to achieve the desired result, the attacker forcibly pulled the door handles, as a result of which he broke the lock and fell inside the store. In one of the desk drawers, he found trading proceeds in the amount of 307 thousand rubles, stole it and disappeared. The man spent the stolen money on alcoholic drinks and entertainment— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
As a result of operational search activities, the suspect was detained by officers of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Leninsky district. The investigative department opened a criminal case against him on the grounds of a crime under paragraph “c” of Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”), the sanction of the article provides for up to 6 years of imprisonment.
