The South Cos in Sevastopol will be built by a new general contractor. The contract was terminated with the previous one

Transstroyindustria LLC is engaged in construction and installation work-this company has become the new only supplier. The state contract concluded earlier with LLC “Regional Construction Company” is terminated.

This week, a renegotiation of the construction contract “South” was renewed due to the bankruptcy of the former general contractor-LLC RSK. The funds that were allocated by the companies were on treasury accounts and “waited” when the contractor fulfilled his obligations to the end. Only after the presentation of all the equipment that was purchased for the facility, after the implementation of all the volume of work, the relevant acts were closed. With the previous general contractor, the customer broke up with zero debt. At the same time, physically, Transstroyindustria, a general subcontractor, worked at the facility. With her, the contract was renegotted. The contract of contract has not changed, the work should be completed at the end of 2026,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Governor.

The construction readiness of the facility is now about 40% — taking into account the work performed on the arrangement of deep -sea production and a partially built reset collector. Now, at the South CBS site, the construction of the building of mechanical wastewater treatment, primary and secondary radial sumps, and the administrative corps is completing. There is a construction of air tanks, a transformer substation, experts lay sewage networks and on -site technological pipelines.

Equipment for drying and subsequent burning of sludge residues will be purchased now and will soon receive. This will give a great advantage to our treatment facilities: in many cities this issue is not resolved, waste accumulates in tanks, and this does not affect the ecology in the most positive way. We will have a separate workshop where drying the silt residues and their burning in protected conditions will be carried out. This is very important: we were able to prove that on a city scale and in the location of the braids we need a full cycle of waste disposal. At the same time, the water after this technology will be purified, without smell, it can be used even for irrigation. Therefore, the city will also receive an additional source of technical water— notes Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The pace of construction of the south will grow, the governor emphasized.

About 150 people work on the construction site. Now, after the renewal of the contract and bringing new limits, the work is still intensified. Tentatively by the end of May, the number of workers will increase to 300 people— concluded Mikhail Razvozhaev.

As previously reported, the power of treatment facilities will reach 130 thousand cubic meters. m/day (with the possibility of increasing up to 160 thousand). COST «South» will be launched in stages. This means that the quality of wastewater treatment will begin to improve even before the end of all work.
