The sports and patriotic festival “Connection of Generations” was launched in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today, as part of the regional project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”, the opening of the sports and patriotic festival “Connection of Generations” took place at the new Gornyak stadium in Balaklava. It was attended by pupils of the sports school No. 3 for football aged 10 years and older.
The festival began with a conversation about the history of Sevastopol football, it was conducted by the president of the Sevastopol regional public organization “Children and Youth Football League of Sevastopol”, the author of the project “Football of my city” Evgeniy Repenkov. Next, festival participants tested their knowledge of the history of Russian football in a quiz format.
The idea was born during the commissioning of the renovated Balaklava stadium and received the support of the Governor — Mikhail Vladimirovich Razvozzhaev. The main idea of our project is to pass on the traditions that are formed on the territory of our great state to the younger generation. Today, together with the artists, we began the process of preparing and drawing patriotic graffiti at the Gornyak stadium. The future graffiti will depict one of the most famous and recognizable football players of the Soviet period, Lev Yashin, of modern times — Igor Akinfeev and a Sevastopol boy with a ball, who, I am sure, will also be a champion and will be part of the Russian national team– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for youth and sports Sergei Reznichenko.
At the end of the event, each festival participant tried himself as an artist and contributed to the creation of patriotic graffiti on the theme “Connection of Generations.” The creation of the composition is planned to be completed on December 9, Heroes of the Fatherland Day.
