The spouses of the dead participants will be able to use their cars before entering into the inheritance

Deputies of the State Duma accepted at the plenary meeting in the first reading Amendments In the legislation on the right to survive the spouse for temporary use by a vehicle, a person who died in connection with participation in a special military operation.

In accordance with the document, the spouses of the dead participants will receive the right to use a vehicle that was registered for a participant in a special military operation, until the inheritance is official. Now, after the death of the owner of the vehicle, the traffic police registration unit stops his state record, and for its use, the loved ones of the deceased bear administrative responsibility. In accordance with the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the inheritance can be accepted within six months from the date of its opening.

In the case of the final adoption of the law, for the use of such a car, spouses of the dead fighters will need to issue a certificate from the notary and acquire an OSAGO policy.
