The Stars of Meganom Classical Music Festival will be held in Crimea for the first time

From July 22, symphonic music will sound on the coast of Sudak, because the Stars of Meganom Classical Music Festival will be held in Crimea for the first time. Yuri Bashmet will be the artistic director of the festival. As part of the program, a free concert is planned for residents and guests of Crimea. The Stars of Meganom Classical Music Festival will be held as part of educational program «Academy of Yuri Bashmet» Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» (project «Tavrida.ART») on July 22 and will become a bright musical event for the whole Crimea. Young artists of symphony orchestras, composers, conductors and sound engineers from all over Russia will take part in the educational program and the Festival, and the owner of the Legends of Taurida award, violist, conductor, teacher, public figure and People’s Artist of the USSR, Laureate USSR State Prize, four State Prizes of the Russian Federation and the Grammy Award Yuri Bashmet. Among the experts and ideological inspirers is the director of the Russian Concert Agency Dmitry Grinchenko. Supervises the educational program «Academy of Yuri Bashmet» music producer of the art cluster «Tavrida» Anna Khramova.

As part of the Stars of Meganom Festival in Crimea, a concert of quartets of symphony orchestra members will take place. The basis of the musical program will include works by young Russian composers and recognized masterpieces of classical music.

On July 22, as part of the Stars of Meganom Classical Music Festival, a big concert of the symphony orchestra under the direction of Yuri Bashmet will take place. Masterpieces of classical music and works by young composers will play at sunset right on the coast of the Akademichesky beach. Young and promising participants of the educational program will join the team of the master and Legends of Taurida as conductors.

One of the events of the Festival will be a chamber performance by soloists of the symphony orchestra and composers who will present new author’s works at the House of Champagne in the New World. This year the winery will celebrate its anniversary — 145 years since the opening. In addition to the concert, the wine cellars and tunnels will house works by talented artists from the Tavrida art cluster. The Stars of Meganom classical music festival is held in support of young names and national musical culture.
