The State Duma deputies propose to use unexplored apartments to resettle emergency houses

The authorities are going to redeem out of non -distributed apartments in new buildings to use them to resettle emergency houses. Such an initiative was made by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Vladimir Koshelev during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
According to him, the developers have accumulated a large amount of unsold «squares». The committee believes that this housing can redeem the resettlement of emergency housing. Koshelev addressed such a proposal to the financial bloc to the government. It is planned to redeem apartments from developers at the price established by the Ministry of Construction in certain regions.
Koshelev believes that this will accelerate the pace of resettlement from emergency housing and will help support the developers.
