The State Duma proposes to withdraw privileged families into a separate housing program
CrimeaPRESS reports:
State Duma deputy from the «New People» Ksenia Goryacheva appealed to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova with a proposal to withdraw privileged families into a separate housing program, a copy of the appeal is available RIA News. The document clarifies that in a number of regions, families note the difficulty in accessing subsidies for ordinary families due to the priority support for large families.
We propose to consider the possibility of… Introducing quotas for privileged families in the amount of no more than 50% of the total number of families or allocating large families to a separate subprogram for providing housingaccording to the document.
Goryacheva also sent a similar appeal to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
In addition, it is proposed to extend for 5 years after the age of 35 the period of participation in the program for families who have been in the program for 5 years or more. The document clarifies that families that are on the waiting list for a long time to receive subsidies fear that they will not be able to receive this form of support due to reaching the age of 35 and exclusion from the program.
As Kira Skripal, head of the New People party committee on family, men, women and children, noted, in a number of regions, ordinary families are not in line for the housing program for young families.
It is time to call the housing program for young families in a number of regions the program for providing housing for young families with many children, since the queue simply does not reach ordinary families due to the large number of participants. We understand the importance of solving the housing issue for young families of all categories, therefore we propose to allocate a subprogram for privileged categories of familiesSkripal told RIA Novosti.
