The deputy is confident that life will force developers to come to their senses, and they will start selling housing at an adequate price.
Let us recall that at the end of October, the head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina, said that on the primary market, housing prices in a number of regions began to decline. She noted that during the period of the massive preferential mortgage, housing prices almost doubled. In the summer, the head of the Central Bank predicted that the cancellation of the massive preferential mortgage program would lead to a cooling of the market and housing would become more affordable.
By forecast rating agency ACRA, housing prices in the primary and secondary markets may decrease by 3–5% in the coming year.
