The state interregional route Melitopol — Dzhankoy was launched in Zaporozhye. First
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On behalf of the governor of our region, the first interregional route of public transport, state regional transport, is starting, which will run between the city of Melitopol and the city of Dzhankoy. Transport accessibility to Crimea is very important. <…> A lot of work has been done by Rosavtotrans, the Ministry of Transport, and the regional government as a wholesaid Vice-Governor of the Zaporozhye region Anton Titsky at the opening of the route.
A modern bus equipped with an air conditioning system, a tachograph, and video surveillance will depart from the Melitopol bus station daily at 07:00 (the time coincides with Moscow). Travel time takes 2.5 hours. At the Dzhankoy checkpoint between the Kherson region and the Republic of Crimea, passengers, like all other residents crossing the administrative border of the regions, will undergo passport control. The ticket price is 1.5 thousand rubles, for children there is a 50% discount, said Alexander Krasotkin, deputy director of the State Unitary Enterprise “Autotrans of Zaporozhye Region”.
The advantage of the route is that the carrier has a state license to organize passenger transportation. Travel insurance is also included in the ticket price; in case of an emergency, the ticket price is refunded. The carrier has a route map and all the necessary documents. The entire list of passengers is transmitted, their passport data, telephone numbers. And in the event of some situation, employees of our government agencies react immediately at the border. And thereby we make transportation safer. Private carriers, unfortunately, cannot boast of this yetadded Krasotkin.
According to him, in the near future official state routes will open to Rostov-on-Don, Mariupol and Donetsk DPR, Krasnodar and Moscow.
