The State Registration Committee of the Republic of Crimea has formalized the real estate properties of the cathedral mosque in Simferopol

Specialists of the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of the Republic of Crimea have registered the rights to the real estate of the cathedral mosque in Simferopol. The construction of the largest mosque in Crimea was carried out under the patronage of Russian President Vladimir Putin and was completed in 2023.

The property complex of the Great Cathedral Mosque includes a main three-story building with a total area of ​​over 4,300 square meters, a courtyard with colonnades and a shadirvan (a place for ablution before prayer), as well as four minarets, each 50 meters high. In addition, a 4-story administrative building with an area of ​​almost 3,500 sq.m, a guest building with an area of ​​more than 1,200 sq.m, auxiliary buildings and structures, and a parking lot were built on the territory,” say the department’s specialists.

A land plot with a total area of ​​more than 3 hectares (30,873 sq.m.) with the type of permitted use “religious use”, owned by the municipality of the city district of Simferopol, was provided to the centralized religious organization “Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol” on a free basis. use. All buildings are registered as the property of the Tauride Muftiate.

The cadastral registration of the land plot and capital buildings of the Simferopol Cathedral Mosque was carried out by employees of the real estate accounting department, and registration actions were carried out by specialists from the central office, the Bakhchisaray district department and the Kerch city department of the State Committee for Registration.
