The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol on the radio wave for truckers urges drivers to be careful on slippery roads

CrimeaPRESS reports:

To prevent road accidents involving trucks, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol carried out a preventive campaign on winter roads for drivers traveling long distances.

To draw the attention of heavy truck drivers to the safe operation of heavy-duty vehicles in difficult road conditions due to bad weather, traffic inspectors contacted them via radios installed in the truck cabs. Traffic inspectors drew the attention of drivers to the main causes of accidents on the roads: speeding, driving into oncoming traffic, failure to maintain a distance, fatigue and sleep while driving. They also reminded drivers about the safety of pedestrians — in conditions of limited visibility they may not be noticed from afar, so the speed should be such that you can react to their approach— noted in the press service Directorates of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

After talking with the policeman, each driver received a reminder about safe behavior on the winter road, developed by the Federal State Agency “Rosavtodor” together with the State Traffic Inspectorate.
