The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol sums up the results of the “Taxi” raid

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol carry out systematic work to identify violations of the Traffic Rules by taxi drivers. During the next preventive measure, 45 taxi cars were checked, and 20 administrative materials were drawn up against their drivers for various traffic violations. Also during the raid, 6 facts were revealed related to violations of the transportation of passengers not wearing seat belts; 5 facts related to violation of vehicle control, in respect of which a diagnostic card has not been issued in the prescribed manner confirming the vehicle’s admission to participation in road traffic.
Traffic inspectors checked whether drivers had the appropriate permits and registration documents, including permission to carry out activities for the transportation of passengers and luggage, waybills with notes on passing a pre-trip medical examination and checking the technical condition of the vehicle, the timeliness of passing a technical inspection of vehicles, the presence of a valid insurance policy.
During the inspection, special attention was paid to the presence of child restraints in the vehicle and their use when transporting minor passengers, the technical condition of vehicles and their equipment, including the legality of making changes to the design of the vehicle. The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate calls on road users to strictly adhere to the Traffic Rules, especially when transporting passengers.
