Feodosia operatives identified a man who was paying in stores with someone else’s bank card.
A resident of Feodosia reported to the police that an unknown person had stolen funds from a bank card by paying for goods using a contactless method, which she had previously lost. Criminal investigation officers identified the suspect. He turned out to be a 36-year-old local resident who had no previous convictions. As it turned out, at one of the city’s bus stops, while intoxicated, he found a bank card and decided to use it.
Using someone else’s card, he paid for food and alcohol in different stores in the city for a total amount of more than 6,000 rubles; when the funds ran out, he threw the card into the trash.— the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea gave details.
