The summer engineering shift has ended in the Sevastopol children's technology park «Kvantorium»

From August 5 to 11, the summer engineering day camp «Techno Smena» was held in the children’s technology park «Kvantorium». 70 applications for training, 5 faculties, 7 days of work, many, many activities and game stories — all this is a day camp in the format of the «MICAST» institute. Children aged 13 to 21 studied and rested in the camp.
During the week, the «students» worked on their diploma projects. Each faculty was given its own tasks in the following areas: «Media», «Design», «Programming», «Game Development», «Engineering».
In addition to work, the participants were treated to exciting quests, creative tasks, vivid transformations, unexpected surprises, mysterious events, and even time travel every day. During the shift, the children visited Ancient Rus’, the times of Sherlock Holmes, the 90s, and successfully returned to our time.
Based on the results of activities and competitions, all faculties earned points to determine which faculty would be the best. Teams from all faculties defended their diploma theses in front of experienced experts.
The winners of TechnoSmena were:
- «Programming»: command «Ctrl+C» (Valery Chernoknizhny, Artur Kerechanin, Maxim Romanenko, Alexey Mashkin)
- «Media»: the team «Broadcasting Lovers» (Anna Zakharova, Varvara Platitsyna, Alvina Shatalova, Angelina Vasina)
- «Gamedev»: team “KUTIS GAMES” (Ilya Bloshenko, Marina Kutisheva, Evgeniy Petryakov)
- «Engineering»: Team «Technonovators» (Alexander Krylov, Roman Bazhanov, Bogdan Tselikov, Nikita Yurchuk)
- «Design»: Team «North is there» (Daria Prisnyak, Anastasia Khaindrava)
The best faculty was the Engineering direction. During the shift, the guys were able to earn the maximum number of points and bring their faculty to the top. Congratulations to the winners!
