The Supreme Court of Crimea rendered a verdict on the murder of a resident of Yalta

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The evidence collected by the Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol was recognized by the court as sufficient to convict the 39-year-old and 40-year-old residents of Yalta. The first was found guilty of committing murder and causing moderate harm to health (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 1 of article 112). He and his accomplice were also found guilty of intentionally causing moderate harm to health by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (Clause “d”, Part 2 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

It was established that on the night of September 6, 2022, after drinking alcohol in a Yalta nightclub, a conflict occurred between three acquaintances, during which one of them, a 35-year-old local resident, was struck multiple times with his hands, feet, and subsequently by one of the accused — with a knife. Fearing responsibility, the accomplices loaded the victim into the trunk and took him to the hospital, telling the medical staff that they had found the victim by the road, and then at a car wash they cleaned the car of traces of blood. A day later, the victim died from his injuries in hospital.— reported in Sledkom.
