The swimming season has started today in Sevastopol. The city officially operates 24 beaches — these are places where the safety of vacationers on the water and on the beach area is ensured.

All 24 territories have been prepared, the relevant approvals have been received from the state inspection for small boats. Official beaches are ready to receive residents and guests of our city , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of urban economy Yevgeny Gorlov.

The schedule of the beaches is from 8: 00 to 20: 00. At this time, rescuers are on site, you can seek help at the medical post. In addition to the safety of vacationers, beach operators also provide continuous cleaning and removal of municipal solid waste.

Now we are separately working on the Uchkuevka beach. Four candidates participated in the selection of the beach operator, one of whom proposed the best improvement solution and won. But two organizations that did not become winners filed complaints with the Federal Antimonopoly Service. Their consideration took 12 days, therefore 10 June the operator of the beach was officially determined, — said Evgeny Gorlov.

Now on the beach «Uchkuevka» posts of rescuers have already been placed, rescue equipment has been brought in, locker rooms, sun loungers, and showers have been installed. In the coming days, it is planned to put in order the elements of improvement and complete the necessary work for a comfortable stay of vacationers.

On the Uchkuevka beach, piles were also left in the sea after the dismantling of the pier, and we also took this into account. The Department of Transportation is in the process of identifying an investor to restore the pier. Within a week, the procedure should be completed, and an operator will be determined who will restore this site so that there is no danger to people , — says the director of the municipal department.
