The Government of the Russian Federation has expanded the terms of the recruitment subsidy program — now it applies to all unemployed citizens under the age of 30 years. Previously, companies could receive state support for the employment of only certain categories of citizens up to 30 years. In addition, citizens who were forced to leave the territory of Ukraine, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as persons dismissed in 2022 due to layoffs and registered as unemployed can participate in the program.
A subsidy is provided to the employer for the employment of certain categories of citizens. The list of unemployed people who can participate in the program has been expanded. The subsidy is three times the minimum wage, increased by the amount of insurance premiums. The organization will receive the first payment in a month after the employment of the unemployed, the second — in three months, the third — in six , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the employment department of the department of labor and social protection of the population of Sevastopol Sergey Makhonin.
To receive a subsidy, an employer must contact the Employment Center to select specialists through a personal account on the Jobs in Russia portal.
The employer submits an application for the selection of employees and informs about the readiness to take part in this event. After the employment of a citizen, the employer must send an application to the Social Insurance Fund to receive a subsidy , says the head of the employment department.
According to Sergey Makhonin, more than 90 employers have already declared their readiness to participate in the program, four people have been hired.
The Head of the Employment Department of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population urged employers to actively use the recruitment subsidy program and employ unemployed citizens, including refugees.
Recall that the President of Russia signed a Decree, according to which citizens who were forced to leave the territory of Ukraine, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, can now be employed without a work permit or a patent.
