The territory in Batiliman will become part of the infrastructure of the Great Sevastopol Trail. And there will be an eco-hotel

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the specially protected natural area in Batiliman, the arrangement of recreational activities has begun. Recall that in June 2022, the Delhi Christo company received two plots in the Laspi tract for a long-term lease. They plan to make an eco-hotel here — forest land will not be built up. Non-capital accommodation facilities will be installed on sites created by nature, without additional clearing of the site. It is planned to install 34 non-stationary tourist accommodation facilities, these are the so-called modules with an average size of five by three meters.

Batiliman is a magical place that requires careful treatment. Entry to the specially protected natural area by vehicles is prohibited, the passage will remain free, but controlled in order to prevent vandalism in relation to the protected area. We are responsible for every tree. Cutting down plants is unacceptable — it will not happen. We have developed project documentation, including the collection of wastewater in a sealed tank with subsequent removal of waste to treatment facilities— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Andrey Pichugin, General Director of Delhi Christo.

The company emphasizes that the territory includes two sections, the first one will be adapted to accommodate modules, and the second, and a larger one, to accommodate tents. There will also be created comfortable conditions for tourists to have a comfortable rest. At the same time, the cost for placing tents will be affordable. Now the tenant of the plots has already installed garbage containers, a dry closet and helps the foresters to ensure that no one harms the red book trees. The territory will be developed in strict accordance with the rules of protected areas and the Forest Code. The forest development project received a positive conclusion from the ecological expertise of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology.

It is very important to develop the tourism industry, but this must be done carefully, while preserving the entire ecological component of our region. This project will take into account the wishes of those who like to relax with tents, and those who like to relax more comfortably— notes the director of the tourism department Larisa Ostapenko.

Larisa Ostapenko also emphasized that the project will bring additional income to the city budget and become part of the infrastructure of the Great Sevastopol Trail — it is convenient to stay in an eco-hotel when making a multi-day route along the BST.

The terms of the lease agreement provide for the preservation of the territory, all plantings, representatives of the animal world, and fire safety. Cutting of plantings is excluded. These terms of the contract are fulfilled by the tenant. Ecotourism is very popular in our region, popular holiday destinations have been established for a long time — they are loved by both Sevastopol residents and guests of the city. A strategy was developed on how to organize a civilized holiday with a prerequisite for the conservation of natural areas— emphasizes Yulia Gavrilova, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology.

It should be noted that unauthorized equipment of recreation areas is prohibited on the territory of specially protected natural areas. Initially, according to the project, it was not supposed to stay here with a tent. But given the history of this place and the requests from the regulars, parking lots will be equipped. This decision is the result of negotiations between the old-timer and the tenant. Now this is how holidays are organized on Figs and Turkish glade.

The tenants of the site emphasize that a new road to the campsite will not be built, only existing roads will be used. As for the path network, already trodden routes will be taken as the basis. New routes will be organized carefully, which will allow to preserve the vegetation without trampling the paths.
