The theme of harmonious interethnic relations is the same for Crimea, the south of the country and all of Russia

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a meeting with the head of the new Interregional Directorate of the Federal Agency for Nationalities of Russia for the North Caucasus Federal District, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Sergei Razzhivin. Further cooperation between the authorities of the Republic of Crimea and the department was discussed, as well as a number of issues related to ensuring interethnic harmony on the peninsula.

Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that work in the Republic in this area is carried out at a high level with the full support of not only the authorities, but also spiritual leaders, social activists and the Crimeans themselves.

Our citizens have repeatedly proven their unity, common fortitude and love for the Motherland. Crimeans, like no one else, know that to be united means to be invincible. It is thanks to this that there are no and cannot be any ethnic conflicts in Crimea,” Aksyonov emphasized.

The chairman of the State Committee for Interethnic Relations of the Republic of Crimea, Aider Tippa, also took part in the event.
