International Children’s Center «Artek» meets Artek students of the 3rd shift of 2023 «Spring. Inspiration. Creation». More than two thousand schoolchildren from different regions of Russia became its participants. The change will help Artek residents to reveal their creative potential and emphasize their individuality more clearly.
According to the press service of the ICC «Artek», on the days of arrival and during the stay of children in the children’s center, special attention is paid to safety. A full range of security measures has been organized at the points of arrival and departure (railway station, bus station). The protection of public order at the railway station is carried out by employees of the transport police of the Crimean Linear Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for transport, as well as transport security officers. The traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Republic of Crimea provides escort for organized groups of children on their way from the evacuation base in Simferopol to the Artek International Children’s Center.
Also, for the safety of children at the points of departure and arrival (railway station, bus station), a «Green Corridor» has been organized. The four-threshold entrance medical control over the state of health of each child continues to operate: at the places of arrival, at the medical center of the Artek base-hotel in Simferopol, upon arrival at the children’s camp and at the camps’ first-aid posts after being assigned to detachments. To strengthen control over the state of health at the race, an infectious disease specialist is involved.
The educational program of the shift is addressed to art, theatrical play, creativity and is aimed at the formation of aesthetic feelings, tastes, ideals, and views. Pupils of «Artek» will develop the skills of effective work in a group, learn to listen to other opinions, formulate, defend and argue their point of view. The events of the change will help Artek residents to show their creative abilities, motivate them to create their own creative projects and create conditions for their implementation, which will undoubtedly enrich the spiritual world of every child.— notes the director of Artek Konstantin Fedorenko.
In the 3rd shift, Artek workers together with the whole country will celebrate the anniversary of the Crimean Spring.
