The time of the heroes comes to Chersonesos Tauride … On the «Night of the Museums — 2025»!

“The Night of Museums — 2025” will be called “Chersonesos. The time of the heroes. » Her events will be held at four sites: in peribol, in the Byzantine courtyard, in the ancient theater and in the square in front of the central entrance group. Guests will be able to get acquainted with the heroes of different eras, shoot from onions, learn fencing, visit exhibitions and theatrical excursions, see VR films and enjoy performances in the ancient theater. The program «Night of Museums — 2025» in Khersones Tauride:

1) peribol (space between the defensive walls of the ancient city).

18: 00–22: 00 — acquaintance with the heroes of antiquity. Children and adults learn how ancient Greek warriors looked like in the Scythian loud dash, participate in the master class on painting shields and will see the performance of the Ellas dancers.

2) the Byzantine courtyard and the surrounding area.

18: 00–22: 00 — reconstruction of the military camp of Prince Vladimir. Guests are waiting for fencing lessons, fights on swords, medieval board games and master classes on minting coins and creating puppets.

18: 00–22: 00 — the work of the Crimean War Reconstructors. Guests will discover the pages of history of 1853–1856, learn about the equipment of soldiers of that time and participate in master classes on the manufacture of candles. And the most active and confident in their abilities will try to bring down enemy ships at the «School of the Young Artillery»!

Throughout the «night of museums» in the small hall of the Byzantine exposition, the exhibition «Far Echo of the Great War» will be opened. She will talk about the fate of Chersonesos in 1941-1945. And about artifacts found by archaeologists, which were considered lost during the second heroic defense and occupation of Sevastopol.

18: 00–22: 00 — the work of the stand exhibitions «Immortal Regiment» and «Lowizers of Swim». At the first, they will present portraits of museum employees who fought for their homeland and defended Khersones and Sevastopol during the Great Patriotic War. At the second exhibition, you can see the paintings created by the neural network dedicated to a special military operation.

In a special film fare, the guests of the “Night of Museums” in Khersones Tauride will show a 20-minute VR film “Heroic Profession”. He will tell children and adults about military pilots and rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies.
