The total capacity of the Crimean year-round sea resort “Golden Sands” will be more than 5 thousand places

The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, commented on the ongoing process of modernizing the tourism infrastructure in the republic in his Telegram channel.
Thus, a number of projects are currently being implemented in Crimea, the largest of which is the year-round seaside resort “Golden Sands”. The complex will be created on behalf of President Vladimir Putin.
According to Sergei Aksenov, on an area of 226 hectares between the cities of Saki and Yevpatoria, it is planned to build 18 year-round hotels of 3–5 stars with a total capacity of 5.3 thousand rooms.
The largest embankment in Crimea, 12 kilometers long, will be built on the coastline. We will pay special attention to creating family rooms to provide comfortable conditions for children and families. Funds are being invested in the project by private investors, state support is expected in the reconstruction of infrastructure and the creation of a road network, gas, water and electricity supply networks, — informed the Head of the Republic.
The head of Crimea noted that an important part of the large-scale project will be the creation of a museum memorial, around which the main infrastructure facilities will be located. It is planned to improve the area around the monument to paratroopers who died heroically during the Great Patriotic War.
Sergey Aksyonov added that the Republic of Crimea has submitted relevant proposals to the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to include the necessary funding in the federal project “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” starting in 2025.
Now investors are developing project documentation and coordinating various technical conditions. The resort is scheduled to open in 2030notes the Head of the Republic.
