The tourist climbed onto the upper plateau of Mount Chatyr-Dag and… then evening came, it got dark

On September 10, at 22:30, the Crisis Management Center received a message that a man had gotten lost in the area of the upper plateau of the Chatyr-Dag mountain range and could not get out on his own. Rescuers’ help is required.
The crisis management center organized an immediate response from the mountain search and rescue unit of the Specialized Unit of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Crimea. Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers searched for the man and then escorted him to a safe place. He did not need medical attention— said the emergency department.
In total, the rescue operation from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations involved: 3 people and 1 piece of equipment.
