The traffic police and the prosecutor's office of the Crimea demand to equip pedestrian crossings near schools in the Nizhnegorsky district
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The prosecutor’s office of the Crimea, together with the traffic police, conducted an inspection of the organization of traffic near educational institutions in the Nizhnegorsk region.
Violations have been established regarding the maintenance of roads in areas adjacent to 13 secondary schools. Thus, pedestrian crossings are not equipped with stationary lighting, there are no approaches to them; the necessary road signs are not installed or their visibility is limited; erased markup and others.
Taking into account the fact that road sections along educational institutions and the ground pedestrian crossings located on them do not meet safety requirements, the prosecutor’s office made a submission to the administration of the Nizhnegorsky district— reported in the supervisory department.
The adoption of the necessary measures aimed at ensuring the safety of pedestrians-schoolchildren is controlled by the district prosecutor’s office. In the meantime, the «transitions» look like this.
