- Stage III — from October 23 to October 29, 2023.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Republic of Crimea appeals to all road users:
Drivers should be extremely careful in places where pedestrians may appear on the roadway and remember that in adverse weather conditions pedestrians may have limited visibility (hood, etc.), which can lead to a traffic accident, maintain a safe distance, choose a speed limit taking into account weather conditions.
Pedestrians should follow the rules of safe behavior on the road:
— be as vigilant as possible in the dark and in bad weather conditions. Before entering the roadway, stop, make sure that there is no transport, and if there is, then make sure that the driver sees you and lets you through;
— in the absence of sidewalks, move along illuminated sections of roads and only towards traffic;
— when moving in the dark or in conditions of insufficient visibility, give preference to light-colored clothing, be sure to use reflective elements, because thanks to reflective elements, pedestrians in conditions of poor or insufficient visibility are ensured safety on the road;
— remember that the braking distance of a vehicle on a wet surface increases significantly.
Take care of yourself!
