The transformation of the historical center of Alupka is coming to an end
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The progress of work on the reconstruction of the central part of Alupka was once again personally checked by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko and the head of the Yalta administration Yanina Pavlenko.
Together with the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, Vadim Aleksandrovich Volchenko, we regularly monitor the progress of work. This time, special attention was paid to the territory cleared of buildings opposite the bust of Amet Khan Sultan. Even at the start of work, we realized that two private residential properties were “tearing” the space and did not fit into the overall concept. We reached an agreement with the owners to exchange their apartments for similar ones in size anywhere in the municipality— reported the head of the Yalta administration Yanina Pavlenko following the visit and clarified that citizens received apartments in one of the new buildings in Yalta, and residents of Alupka received a public space that was so lacking; it is planned to equip an amphitheater there.
Yanina Pavlenko also added that the paving of roads and sidewalks with paving stones has almost been completed, and antique-style lanterns and lamps have been installed.
Inspired by the process, residents and entrepreneurs are in full swing putting facades and signs in order, installing patterned platbands and address notices, for which I especially thank them. Soon the image of “Old Alupka” will be enhanced by objects donated by the Yalta Film Studio— Yanina Pavlenko summed up and added that artists will also begin work in Alupka soon — it is planned to decorate a number of facades of objects with thematic images and murals.
