The FSB reports on the suppression of an assassination attempt on the Head of Crimea.
The FSB prevented the blowing up of the car of the Head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov. The attack was supposed to be carried out by a citizen of the Russian Federation recruited for this purpose by the SBU. He is detained. This was reported by the Center for Public Relations (CSP) of the FSB of Russia.
During the operational-search activities, a Russian citizen born in 1988 was identified and detained, who was recruited by the SBU and completed a training course in reconnaissance and subversive activities on the territory of Ukraine, including training in mine explosives, the message says. — The bomber did not have time to bring the criminal intent to the end, since he was detained when the explosive device was removed from the cache.
