Very lively, imaginative, simple and creative. Everything is clear and you are doing the right thing, well done!— Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia Ella Pamfilova assessed the activities of the MEC of Sevastopol.
The impressions and emotions from the trip are at their best! We met the guys from the subjects, exchanged contacts, studied each other’s experience and will adapt it at home. Our performance was highly appreciated by Ella Aleksandrovna Pamfilova and other participants. This gave us additional motivation to move on! — Nikita Tsan shared his impressions.
On the second day, representatives of the Central Election Commission of Russia, chairmen of regional election commissions, and leading experts in the field of electoral law and process spoke.
The sections “Elections: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”, “Historical Justice” and “Modern Development of Russia in the Conditions of Transformation of the World Order and Global Challenges” worked.
The Chairman of the Sevastopol City Election Commission, Nina Faustova, at the section “Elections: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” shared the unique experience of the Northern Election Commission in ensuring security during election campaigns in conditions of an increased level of terrorist threat.

The Northern Electoral Commission also held a quiz for forum participants dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with the Russian Federation. Nina Faustova also moderated the section “Modern development of Russia in the context of transformation of the world order and global challenges.” With the participation of Pavel Andreev, a member of the Russian Central Election Commission, and Maxim Leskov, executive director of the Russian Foundation for Free Elections, aspects of the electoral system in conditions of geopolitical confrontation and the role of youth in ensuring sustainable democratic development of the system of democracy in Russia were discussed.
Commenting on the work of the MEC Forum, Chairman of the CEC of Russia Ella Pamfilova noted:
High-quality elections are one of the most important elements of the stability and sustainability of the State in the current turbulent times. In the context of growing external aggression and a toxic international environment, we simply must act proactively, quickly and successfully responding to all challenges, provocations and threats. This is a quiet but deep manifestation of Patriotism, when, without pretentious verbosity, there is simply smart, talented, highly professional, creative work for the benefit of loved ones and relatives, for the benefit of our people, for the benefit of our Fatherland.
The projects presented by the participants, aimed at improving the electoral system and developing the legal literacy of young people, will be sent for review to the Central Election Commission of Russia.
