The updated Board of Honor was presented in Yalta

Certificates of inclusion on the city’s Honor Board were awarded to 34 Yalta residents and 10 teams. Among those honored are teachers, athletes, heads of public organizations, cultural institutions, doctors, rescuers, volunteers, representatives of law enforcement agencies, military-patriotic organizations, employees of catering establishments and the resort industry.

During the event, the Head of the Municipal Formation of the Yalta Urban District – Chairman of the Yalta City Council Konstantin Shimanovsky and the Head of the Yalta City Administration Yanina Pavlenko addressed those present and thanked those gathered for their concern and contribution to the development of the city.

Dear friends, colleagues, Yalta residents! Our beloved Yalta is famous for its nature, architecture, climate, but the most important value is, of course, people, that is, you. Even if this meeting were held in the largest hall of the city, we would hardly be able to gather together absolutely all the most worthy Yalta residents, all work collectives. The list of Honorary Citizens of Yalta has been expanded by two more outstanding names. Thus, the title of «Honorary Citizen of the City of Yalta» was awarded to the artist, honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Petrovich Bocharov and candidate of technical sciences, honored builder of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, initiator and active participant in the development of a new system for managing construction production Vladimir Antonovich Popelyansky.

The celebration continued with the presentation of Certificates of inclusion on the city’s Honor Board and a concert by the best groups of Yalta.
