The Victory Museum hosted a presentation of the book by the SVO participants
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Victory Museum presented another book by participants of the SVO. This is the second collection of stories and poems published by the «Defenders of the Fatherland» foundation under the editorship of writer Zakhar Prilepin. It includes 43 stories of participants in military operations.
In preparation for the book «There Are No Bonds Holier Than Camaraderie,» the foundation’s branches received more than 750 stories from veterans and family members of fallen heroes. Crimean Dmitry Voronin, whose story was also included in the collection, tells, for example, about personal feelings and experiences, the mood of the volunteer fighters with whom he arrived at his place of service in March 2022.
Our common duty is to preserve the historical truth, stories about the exploits of heroes, so it was decided to continue publishing the stories of the participants in the special operation. The first book, «Life for Friends,» has already been distributed throughout all regions of Russia — libraries, museums, theaters. Performances were staged based on it, to the premiere of which veterans and their families were invited. Let us recall that the «Defenders of the Fatherland» foundation was created on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Its main goal is to provide personal support to veterans of the SVO and family members of heroes.
Since June 1, 2023, the Crimean branch of the Fatherland Defenders Foundation has received more than 45 thousand requests, of which over 42 thousand (92.2%) have already been resolved.
