The village of Lyubimovka: Sevastopol residents discussed the improvement of the square at the memorial to the fallen fellow villagers

Public hearings continue in Sevastopol within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, initiated by President Vladimir Putin. The townspeople discussed the improvement of the square at the memorial to the fallen fellow villagers on Sofya Perovskaya Street, 10A in the village of Lyubimovka — work on the territory will begin this year.

Public hearings are being held for the third time. At the first meeting, residents expressed their wishes for improvement of the territory, at the second meeting a major renovation project was presented, and at the third — the final version of the plan, taking into account all the wishes and comments of the administration and residents of Lyubimovka.

The project involves preserving the historical appearance of the memorial, replacing dilapidated coverings, installing new small architectural forms and street furniture. It is also planned to install modern lighting and video surveillance. To harmoniously combine the square with the style of the adjacent park named after Sofia Perovskaya, the project provides entrance arches– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy director of the “Parks and Public Gardens” institution, Yegor Suslin.

Let us remind you that this year the following territories of the Nakhimov Municipal District will participate in the voting:

• green zone between houses No. 39 and 31A on Pobeda Avenue;
• Heroes of the Soviet Union Square on Heroes of Sevastopol Street;
• the area near the monument to tank heroes on Krasnaya Gorka;
• green zone along Brestskaya street in the Sevastopol recreation center area.
