The “Voice of Victory” sounded in Sevastopol

On May 4, in the hall of the cultural complex «Korabel» a gala concert and award ceremony took place for the participants of the VII Regional Vocal Competition for Children and Youth of the Patriotic Song «Voice of Victory». For the seventh year in a row, the competition has been held by the Korabel cultural complex with the support of the Department of Culture.
The birth and development of this project within the walls of “Korabela” is a great honor for us; we have been continuing the competition with dignity for the past seven years. The patriotism inherent in the performance of each number on stage has a historical basis. Nakhimovsky district is the cradle of the shipyards of Russia and the Navy. Here began the Hero City Sevastopol– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the cultural complex “Korabel”, Honored Worker of Culture of the city Lyubov Talakh.
This year, 350 people took part in the competition. The third degree laureates were 2 choirs, 3 ensembles, a trio, a duet and 10 soloists. The second degree laureates are a choir, 4 ensembles, 2 duets and 19 soloists, and the first degree laureates are 2 choirs, 9 ensembles, a duet, a trio and 6 soloists. The winner of the Grand Prix of the competition is the exemplary vocal ensemble “The Little Prince”, director – Tatyana Turik.
All laureates were awarded diplomas, cups and medals.
