Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk, together with the head of the Federal Agency for Water Resources, Russian Federals Dmitry Mikhailovich Kirillov, representatives of specialized ministries and departments, held a meeting dedicated to sustainable water supply of Crimea. During on -site events on the territory of the planned reservoir on the Marta River in the Bakhchisarai district, technical issues were discussed objectively.
According to preliminary calculations, the volume of the reservoir will be about 6.5 million cubic meters, which will significantly increase the fresh water reserves necessary for the needs of the South -Tower population.
At an expanded meeting in the Government of Crimea, current problems of water supply of the republic and plans for the future were discussed.
According to Yuri Gotsanyuk, thanks to the republics timely taken, the republic managed to reduce the water -projection in the Eastern Crimea and other regions.
In 2024, work was carried out in Armyansk on the overhaul of the household-drinking water supply, as well as the overhaul of emergency sections of the water conduits in Yevpatoria. In Kerch and the village of Heroevskoye, the construction and reconstruction of water networks with a total length of 53 km continues.
We examined in detail the construction of the Solnechnogorsk and March reservoirs for the needs of the southern coast of Crimea— said Gotsanyuk.
The implementation of these measures will provide water for 200 thousand inhabitants and over 2 million guests of Yalta and Alushta.
