The Vorontsov Palace is being renovated in Alupka: what work has already begun

The plans include: repairing the roof and networks, landscaping the park.
Repair and restoration work continues at the cultural heritage site of federal significance “Complex of structures of the Vorontsov Palace” in Alupka.
Activities for restoration and repair of utility networks, including improvement of the adjacent territory of the Vorontsov Palace and in the park area (park-monument of landscape gardening art of regional significance of the Republic of Crimea «Alupkinsky») are provided for by the state program «Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol» » Financing in the amount of 535.2 million rubles— reported the Republican Council of Ministers.
The customer of the work is the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Directorate for Centralized Maintenance and Development of Cultural Institutions”, the balance holder is the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Alupka Palace and Park Museum-Reserve”.
To date, the following have been completed in full: restoration of the roof of the Winter Garden of the Main Building, canopies on the roof of the South-Eastern and South-West terraces, roofs of the South-East and South-West terraces, roofs over the Shuvalovsky passage, installation of heating engineering networks. The improvement and paving of the Shuvalovsky passage and the paving of paths were also completed.
Activities for the installation of water supply, sewerage and drainage networks, and commissioning work for the installation of video surveillance systems and outdoor lighting are being completed. In addition, work is underway to paving park paths and Palace Passage.
