The water level in Salgir has risen — part of the Gagarinsky Park in Simferopol is flooded
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Melting snow in the mountains led to a significant rise in water levels in Salgir. In Simferopol, a deep river even overflowed its banks, flooding part of the embankment in Gagarinsky Park.
The directorate of the Capital Parks institution asks you to be careful and, for safety reasons, not to come close to the water.
Head of the Administration of the Crimean capital Mikhail Afanasyev assured: There is no cause for concern. The situation is controlled.
This happened due to an increase in the level of water discharge from the Simferopol reservoir. Please be careful and stay away from the river bed if possible. All services are operating in high alert mode, monitoring groups monitor the water level taking into account the discharge from the Simferopol reservoir,” Afanasyev noted.
In case of emergency situations, contact the EDDS of the city of Simferopol by phone: +7 (3652) 60-49-09 or mobile: +7 (978) 944 39 59; +7 (918) 030 01 12.
