Under these conditions, there is a high probability of emergencies associated with accidents at energy facilities, housing and communal services, an increase in the number of road accidents, disruptions in transport communications, obstruction of vehicle traffic on roads, long descents and ascents, dangerous turns and mountain passes. Flooding of areas is possible. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea recommends following safety measures:
— exclude access to mountainous forest areas;
— refrain from going to the sea and inland waters;
— do not go to embankments and bank protection structures;
— pay attention to the condition of drainage systems, drainage channels, storm drains, and cleaning storm sewers from debris;
— limit your stay in the immediate vicinity of river beds, including dry ones;
— we recommend that the population living in close proximity to water bodies and in areas of dry riverbeds take measures to preserve their property;
— drivers of vehicles, if it is impossible to limit travel, be extremely careful on the road, do not exceed the speed limit and strictly follow the traffic rules.
In bad weather, pay special attention to the safety of children and the elderly, and be attentive to others.
